Cock Block Or Not?

Posted by Raid 04.25.2010 No Comments

So we’re at my friend’s house. Fel, D-Man, and to go spark outfront and little do we know it’s raining. Fuck the rain though, a quick spark must commence. When we come back in…. the door to my friend’s living room is closed. Why? Maybe b/c his girlfriend is also there with me. Now wonder the siuation I’m on Cloud IX, certainly not going back out in the rain, but if we sit in the room outside the living room…. won’t we be cock blocking?

I mean they already heard us coming in, plus our conversation may ruin their mood! Now we’re back out front and in the rain. I’m thinking of txting me “yo let me know when your done!” But I risk the chance of still cock blocking, making my whole time in the rain pointless.

What would you do? Let me know while I wait until he’s finished.

Fel’s Breathing Theory

Posted by admin 09.01.2009 2 Comments

Sometimes the human body can do things that we would normally deem impossible. Lifting something heavy or smoking a whole Oz in one pull, you know, super heroe stuff. Well, while in Cloud IX, I’ve noticed that I do things that I don’t think I could while sober.

One of the things I noticed is that while Raid & I are passing one around, I forget to breath at a regular rate. I would take a pull and then continue to hold it for a prolonged ammount of time. Normally I would slowly start feeling the need to breath but while I’m holding my pull, I sometimes don’t notice that I have been holding my breath for a while. I’m not trying to sell the idea that Cloud IX gives you super human abilities but there’s something going on there.

Breathing is more of a mental impulse than a necessary reflex by the lungs. Your brain tells your whole body how and when to react to certain parameters. If your brain determines that you are low on oxygen, it’ll then relay a message to your respiratory system to intake some air to replenish the body with more oxygen. It’s that simple.

Cloud IX, as we all know, has a major effect on your perseption of things. From what you see to how you feel things, Cloud IX enhaces your senses in many awesome ways. Now, let’s think about that for a second. If Cloud IX is known to alter our vision & feeling of the world around us, then maybe it has the ability to bypass some brain reflexes.

It could be possible that when in Cloud IX, your body has a better way of handling low oxygen. Maybe your brain is too busy taking in all the extra sensory information and thus determines that you could go a little longer holding the pull. Slowlly intaking the oxygen particles of the one pull. It’s as though our body is working at a slower, yet, more efficient way.

Everytime I have noticed myself holding my pull for longer than expected, I feel normal. I’m not trying to breath in desperately, as a matter of fact, it’s as though I’ve been breathing normally the whole time.

Next time you take a trip to the Cloud, see if you notice yourself holding the pull for longer than you would normally. Till the next time, stay floating.

We have come back! Well, trying to at least. =)

We have come back! Well, trying to at least. =)

Its been a while since the last post we made here on Cloud IX. Life is weird and sometimes takes us somewhere else we didnt expect. Well, physically speaking, we didn’t go anywhere. We were ocupied with other projects that required more of our time.

Now, with a new plan for Cloud IX and a possible new writer on our team, we have come back!

We just came back from a afternoon drive through Star Blvd, followed by a visit at Dunkin Dounuts and then finishing it up with a second half of an L. On our walk through the streets of Hoboken, we came across this car at a corner with something, unusual item on its hood. A rocking sheep. Yeah, I know, what do you i mean by it? Well take a look.

We hope to bring to reality all of the new stuff we have planned for Cloud IX. For real this time though :)

Rallo’s Adventure Log…

Rallo's Adventure Log...

Rallo’s Log, Day 1:

Hello diary I am currently 23  and I’ve decided to keep a detailed account of my adventures here in the of Azeroth. So let me tell you a little about my self before we get started, that way whoever is going to read this while I’m gone can have a visual description of the person their reading about. My actions would look a lot more vivid on the readers mind. Enough of that, I’m a Draenei Shaman, like I said before I’m 23 seasons old.I have long black hair up on a samurai styled tail with long threads falling on my shoulders.

At my current age, I’ve been on a few major adventures already. None of my endeavors have made me much money so I’ve been broke for a while. I’m currently in Stormwind trying to upgrade my gear and move forward, but my lack of funding has made it a bit hard to accomplish. As I walked through town on my way to get a new hair cut I noticed two female nights elves going to the same place for their hair. They both started talking about ways to acquire gold. Given my current situation, there nothing better to do than to pay close attention to what they were saying. They mentioned this loan shark in the dwarven district who would lend anyone money just as long as they are able to pay him double the amount back.  I couldn’t resist the opportunity to finally get my gear and en enbark on my new adventure on this foreign world.

Though I had bought all my armor gear, I was still lacking a suitable weapon to fit my current attire, lets be honest, I am a good looking Draenei. After looking for a while at the one handed hammers and maces, I opted for a well balanced Face Macher. Confident with my choice I made my way to the tradesmen to pain for my weapon with my gold. However, as if by fate, another Dreanei approached me and stopped me from proceeding with my purchase. Bazic, told me of a better choice of weapon that should get instead of the Face Masher. With a little hesitation, I agreed with his choice of weapon and instead, I left the store with a Dimond Hammer. I have to admit, it does feel a lot more powerful than my first choice. Bazic and I talked to for a while and walked out of the store, I told him I wanted to try my hammer on something worthy of its maiden strike. At 80 seasons, he is about the toughest thing I could use my hammer on.  With a deep laugh, hands on his belly Bazic accepted to let me spar with him, the encounter went as anyone would have expected, I only hit him once and missed every other, he beats me. I felt like I had to take advantage of his experience and asked him to tutor me on proper spell preparations for my journey ahead. Bazic started by telling me that for me to achieve a stable arrangement of spells I would have to forget everything and start anew.

After completing the spell arrangement I reached for my back pocket where I keep my Questlog. First thing on my to do list was to help the citizens of Redridge Mountains with a menacing gnoll named Yowler. I proceeded to help with their troubles so I decided that it would be a good idea to get to know a little more about the gnoll in question. I found out that Yowler and his band of gnolls have been terrorising the farmers in redridge. I’ve always felt that farmers provided us with one of the most vital services, the cultivation of food. I couldnt refused to answer their request and headed for the Grifon Master to set flight to my new destination.

Right now as I sit in the kitchen across from Raid, i get a sudden feeling that I am not alone… There is another soul in front of me, someone with whom to converse with. What joy this brings me, alas my solitude has come to an end, a much deserved end indeed. But now, what is there to talk about? I’ve been alone for so long that the only person I can talk to, heck the only person that can put up with my nonsense is me. Well there isn’t much else to do than just try to talk to him, what else can i possibly loose.

“Hey, Raid. What are you up to?”

“Reading politics stuff.” – resumes usual “finger” position.

I walk over to him with an ice cream cone on hand. Its the ice cream that has the strawberry syrup shell thing, you know the thin red layer of strawberry on vanilla ice cream. I stop slightly behind his left shoulder, ice cream hovering above him.

“You and your politics. I seriously don’t understand what you find interesting on those articles.” – Fel keeps licking and enjoying his ice cream. Suddenly, Fel goes for one more lick at the ice cream, a piece of ice cream falls on Raid’s shoulder. Raid abruptly stops on his track, slowly proceeding to turn to look at what had just fallen on his shoulder. He sees the lump of ice cream, the reason why he felt a chill to begin with.

“Oh, damn…! My bad dude.” – Fel laughs jokingly. He gets a bounty from the counter and proceeds to clean Raid’s shoulder. Just as Fel is about to lift his hand off Raid’s shoulder, Raid himself reaches for Fel’s wrist successfully grabbing hold of it. He slowly turns his gaze up to look at Fel.

“You got ice cream…”

“My bad dude! Hahaha, I didn’t mean to dirty your shirt.” – Fel suddenly interrupts Raid.

“…without telling me.” – Raid scoops the last drop of ice cream off his shoulder with his finger, he places his finger in his mouth and licks it clean.

“I don’t care about my shirt, I wanted some ice cream.” – Raid keeps licking his finger in hopes of being able to taste the ice cream just a bit more.

“My bad dude…” – Fel keeps licking his ice cream some more. “…This ice cream is like, the best I’ve had in a long time.”

Raid staring at Fel, hoping to make eye contact so that he was able to make his move. “Come on Fel, look at me. You know you want to look.” - Raid was thinking to himself squinting his eyes. Fel didn’t seem to notice anything and kept licking and enjoying the ice cream as if he was the only man in this world.

Fel was in his own world now, he was standing in the middle of a dark room with a soft spot light on him. He was holding his ice cream and looking around. The room slowly started to show a majestic arrangement of stars, now he was floating in space. The taste is so awesome, so intense and satisfying time seems to stop. Fel was going into an orgasmic trip, full of flavor and ecstasy, he was drifting into a deep state when…

“Yo, you wanna give me some of that?”

“Huh?” – Fel was abruptly brought down to earth. – “Aw, you suck. I was going massively up and you had to interrupt me…Thanks.”

“Oh yeah?! You wanted to go up without me?”

“What you wanted to deprive myself just because YOU thought it was a good idea to devour your juice in like one gulp?”

“Hahaha, come on yo. Its Cloud IX rules, you gotta obey them. Have HONOR amongst your fellow Cloud IXers.”

Fel glares at Raid. – “Fucking bastard. You can’t use that card on me! You actually think I would leave you down here by your self and me go on my own to greatness?…” – Staring at Raid with slightly squinted eyes.

“Aw Fel, thanks. I knew you would gimme some.” – Raid extend his hand to get some ice cream.

“…You’re absolutely right, sucks to be you!” – Laughter take over Fel’s vocal cords. – “Just kidding man, here, you can have it. I’m done.”

Fel licks the drops off his one hand and extends the other towards Raid, offering him some ice cream.

“YEAH?! Aw thanks Fel.” – Fel pats Raid on the back once and lick off the remaining ice cream on his finger. – “It’s Cloud IX, I had to.”

Mad High.

Posted by Fel 05.06.2009 No Comments

As of right now, Raid and I are enjoying a high (LOL nice pun) dosage of Cloud IX. The show “In Plain Sight” is pretty good.

For a while I thought that Marie(sp?) was the bar owner from “Coyote Ugly,” Lil. She is so gorgeous!

Raid has just fallen asleep but demise it. KW heard him, I heard him but he still demise it! I’ll record him when I get a chance and update this post. =P

The Clerk.

The Clerk.

Corner stores or gas stations with a store in them, regardless of what they are, the person behind the counter is his or her own character. The clerk is an unexpected friend, and you should always keep that in mind. When me and Raid go to Cloud IX, we have a set spot where we go and get our treats from. Its a gas station a few block from KW’s (Raid’s girl) house where lately we’ve been doing the majority of our Cloud IX trips.

The guy who runs this gas station is from the middle east, not the turban wearing kind, but you can tell he is from that area. Now, I don’t mean to point it out to pick on him, but rather to paint a picture as to how he looks. The counter is well equipped to cater to CIXers, really it is. On it you can find small eye drops, mini mouth wash bottles, key chain roach pipes, and an assortment of other CIX friendly things. When we first went to this store and noticed all these things readily available, we kind of figured he knew what kind of people frequent his store during the late hours of the day, mostly after 11pm.

Moving on, we now go there frequently and our unspoken relationship to the guy has… grown. You see, to pay with your debit card at the store part of the gas station, you have to go back out and bring your receipt to the guy tending to the pumps. At the beginning without even him telling me to, I would leave my bag in the store walk out and pay with my card then proceed to retrieve the bag of goodies from the counter where Raid would usually wait inside with the bag. We kept going and doing the same thing over and over again. One day, however, we went for our usual snacks and when we went to pay he gave us the bag, the receipt and we walked out. Bag and all we paid with our card to the guy by the pump and off we went back to the house. I noticed this and figured we didn’t really have to have done the whole leave the bag and come back for it routine, till that one day…

One time we went to the store again and a couple of teenagers were there buying their munchies. The dude paying wanted to put it on his debit card so he approached the counter as anyone would, and he went to grab his bag and receipt to go out and pay. The Clerk grabbed his bag and told him that he has to pay and then come and get his stuff. That’s when i noticed that the Clerk was a friend to me and Raid, for a few days prior to this fateful night we have gone to pay with cards and been able to walk out with merchandise and pay to the pump guy.

You see, if you show respect to your clerk people at your favorite store, it’ll pay off. This article serve no other purpose really than to pay homage to our Clerk who has come to trust us and allows us certain commodities that other non frequent customers don’t get. Mr Clerk at the gas station, we appreciate your unspoken friendship and recognize it as such. This here is an ode to you =)

Sector Cloud 17.

Sector Cloud 17.

Today we ventured into one of our driving Cloud IX experience, we drove up Star Blvd. Star Blvd. is an awesome and comfortable experience, it provides you all  with what one would need to create an enjoyable experience. We can get there from my house and Raid’s house, easily accessible and fun to drive.

The boulevard is, to the common folk, nothing more than a long road, however, if you so happen to drive though it and have a nicely rolled L then the road takes on a whole new character. It starts off very subtle with lights along the road about 4 feet apart from one another, making it very bright at night. Even though at times congested with other drivers, everything seems to hold a level of controlled madness. You have cars passing you by or suddenly stopping. You experience a multitude of exciting emotions in a very rapid time. As we progress through the road ahead, it suddenly takes on an abrupt change of light. From very bright to very dark, all in the span of about a 15seconds (depending on your speed), everything takes on a new life. The road creeps on to you; lighting is very low, with a hue of blue covering all of it.

We like to listen to Incubus while we drive; Incubus is really all we really hear during Cloud IX. Very seldom we listen to one or more artist during the night, but never replacing Incubus. At start and finish, Incubus plays with other artists sprinkled around in between. We keep it going for a while still never getting any brighter. Slowly, an open space creeps in, it’s an empty parking lot no cars no building next to it. We make a U turn there and head back to Cloud IX, don’t worry, I’ll explain in a bit.

Sector Cloud 17 was brought to our attention when I received a message from some random person in the iPhone Application [...thing.], “Distant Shores”. I had sent a message in a bottle and saying something like, “Hey, how are you? I’m in Cloud IX.” A few days passed and I received the reply that said something like this, “I’m in Sector Cloud 17…”

We went on for a few more days and I didn’t think much of it, until we went for our first drive. Sector d 17 was created and assigned a personality. An empty parking lot because the parking for people who went into a different school of Cloud IX Though called, Sector Cloud 17.
In Sector Cloud 17, people like to be in dark forest areas embracing their version of Cloud IX. Remember Cloud IX is a state of mind and thus can materialize anywhere or everywhere. Where ever you feel more comfortable in, that’s where Cloud IX will be for you. For us, it’s always a place with fluffy things like pillows and somewhere comfortable to either lay or sit. The lights are usually dim and the temperature always warm. Not hot like summer, but rather a warm afternoon by the shore with a nice breeze blowing by.

Sector Cloud 17 seems to be a more obscure place. Everything seems to dark and very little light ever goes through. Sector Cloud 17 houses creatures of the true night; they feel at home in the darkness and embrace the colder temperatures of the world. Though this is all very different from the feel of Cloud IX (where we dwell), we still consider the populous of Sector Cloud 17 members of Cloud IX (the state of mind)

(EDIT – I had to do some editing, the original article was written while I was in Cloud IX. Now it’s better and with less mistakes. Fel)

Fido, I remember you.

To me it seems that TV has changed quite a bit, no longer you see cartoons like Doug or Gargoyles. Television commercials haven’t don’t too well either, at least not to me. It feel to me as though the older TV shows and commercials were more original. Reason why I mention all this is to take a moment to bring forth one of my beloved “Olden Days” characters. I give you, 7Up’s Fido Dido.

Fido Dido, for those not in the know, was the face of the 7Up for a while. He was created by Joanna Ferrone and Sue Rose on a napkin. Fido was than licensed off to the Pepsi Co. where he didn’t see much action. I love Fido as the mascot for 7Up, Spot was Cool but didn’t appeal to me like Fido Dido did.

Sing along with CIX.

Posted by Fel 04.05.2009 No Comments

Hello everyone! Its time for a special treat for you all. The following is a song that Raid made up during one of our old school Cloud IX gatherings. The story goes as follows:

One night in the Cloud IX room, Raid and I were hanging out with a couple of friends and one of them was a girl named Karen. Now Karen isn’t really a friend of ours, she is more of an acquaintance, you know brought over by a friend of ours and allowed to join on the festivities. Moving right long, Raid was laying down with his back against the wall and Karen was standing directly across from him. Raid and the rest of us were talking and making things up, as per usual during CIX, when suddenly Raid noticed something.

Karen to him was standing on the ceiling, and asked her to come down. Some confusion ensued and slowly a little jinggle started, it goes like this:

Karen, Karen.
From the ceiling, from the ceiling.
Please come fall, break your leg.

The same three lines repeat over and over, its works like the Song that Doean’t End. We’ll try to record the tune so you can all sing it and spread the happiness.
